343 Industries officially announced that Halo Infinite Season 2: Lone Wolves will appear on 3 May 2022. In the new season there are two new maps, new content and more.
On the picture above you see a concept of "Catalyst", a new arena card , which will appear in Season 2 for Halo Infinite. Below you can see a concept drawing for "Breaker", a new card for big team struggles , which is also released in season 2.
Further, it was announced that the Koop mode still needed further fine cut and can not be published to the start of Season 2. 343 Industries, however, tries to publish the co-op with all means for Season 2 and announces the following:
"We make great progress in cooperation in the campaign network. And around the clarification, this work runs parallel to work on Season 2, as well as our work on Forge. "
"But reality is that it will need more time to create a high-quality, fully functional 4-player network co-op experience in the huge, extensive world of Halo Infinite. We also use a great 2-player split screen coop experience on all Xbox consoles, from the original Xbox One to the Xbox One Series X - and the non-linear, extensive portions of the campaign are some big ones Challenges for the Split Screen, for whose solution we have needed more time. "
"All this means that we will not be able to publish the campaign in the network cooop on May 3, to the start of season 2. But we still have the goal of providing network coal mode for the campaign later in season 2, and we will announce a publication date for it and for split-screen coeop mode as soon as we can. "
Season 2 Lone Wolves also add new Spartans in Halo Infinite. In the following picture you see a concept:
This is the Spartansin Sigrid eclound on the left and the Spartan Hieu Dinh on the right side. You will learn more about you (and spend more time with the Spartan commandant Laurette Agryna) while dipping in the history of Season 2 - a mixture of movie sequences, story-related events, Battle pass objects and more, the topic of lonely Embody wolves.
There will be a new, free fracture armor. In the following picture you can see a first concept drawing of the new free fracture armor, which is introduced in season 2.
343 Industries has announced that the focus of the Halo Infinite team has the following priorities: 1. Resolving problems that have a negative impact on the gaming experience. 2. Completion of Season 2 and delivery as promised on 3 May. 3. Continuation of work at the Koop campaign, the forge and season 3.
For blacksmith mode, you have also expressed: "We also make great progress in Forge. We have already unlocked Forge for a small group of community developers and work closely with them to make sure they all have a great experience when creating, sharing, browsing and playing forge content. In the near future, we will continue to test Forge privately while we develop it, and at the same time plan one or more public test runs during this year. Our goal is still to deliver forge with season 3. "
"Speaking season 3: While the majority of the team deals with the hotlist elements, the delivery of season 2 and work on the co-pop campaign and forge, there are also many people who are already working hard on season 3. We will announce further details and details of all these development efforts at a later date. "
In April, there will be more information about new cards, modes, customization options and narrative content from Halo Infinite: Season 2 Lone Wolves.
