While it was already known that a new Mass Effect is under development, for several months the possible use of Unreal Engine has been rumored for this title. Now, a recent job offer has revealed that BioWare has abandoned EA Frostbite, to return to Epic Games engine.
Through the official BioWare site, you can find a job request, where you are looking for a technical director associated with experience in Unreal Engine. Similarly, Breton Holmes, producer in this study, has confirmed this information by pointing out that look for someone with experience in Unreal Engine 4 and 5.
